I like cold weather. Cold weather is a great contrast to warm, hot weather. I’ll explain why.
I live in the sunny Bahamas and the weather is usually warm 11 months out of the year. To make matters more uncomfortable, during the hot months there is sometimes electrical power cuts. Imagine that, its hot and now there’s no electricity to power a fan to cool you off!
The reasons I enjoy cold weather is for its invigorating qualities. Not only does it provide a refreshing break from the year-round warmth of the sunny Bahamas, but it also offers a delightful contrast to the hot and humid climate. Despite living in a tropical paradise where warmth dominates most of the year, I embrace the chilly temperatures as an opportunity to experience something different and unique.
While many people living in northern regions may dislike the cold weather, I personally find it quite manageable. I enjoy travelling to northern countries in the fall and winter months. My favorite vacation spots are Montreal, Canada and Maryland, U.S.A. I remember the first time I saw snow , while shopping in Delaware. It was amazing, but cold!
