The foods should not be refined, pasteurized, treated with pesticides or processed in any way. Foods such as raw grains, legumes, dried fruits and meats ( for those non vegetarians), nut milks, raw nut butters, cold pressed olive and coconut oils, fermented foods ( kimchi, sauerkraut) fit this diet’s requirements. Acceptable food preparation is juicing, blending, dehydrating, soaking and sprouting. Supplements use are discouraged, as the enzymes , vitamins and minerals from the Raw Food diet would be sufficient for your body.
